ACFS Qld branch in conjunction with the Multicultural English Society of Qld  organised a launching Ceremony for the Chinese-English Bilingual Language Learning Classes.

The launch was attend3ed by the Chinese Consul-General in Brisbane Dr RUAN Zongze, Deputy Chinese Consul-General Ms LI Suyun, Professor Colin Mackerras and Ms Casey Davidson, President of Australia-China Friendship Society Queensland., Ms Helen Liu, President of Multicultural English Society of Queensland. More than 50 guests from all areas of society attended the event.

Dr Ruan said in his speech that learning a new language is like having a new pair of eyes and ears, which can not only facilitate life, but also understand another culture, broaden horizons and mind. The Chinese-English Bilingual Language Learning Class is a creative and valuable attempt to turn language barriers into communication bridges and enhance mutual understanding and friendship.
